as you might remember me |
I
am a self-employed consultant / catalyst, independent trainer,
people developer, and writer. I enjoy any type of work that
presents change and variation, including analysis work, suggesting
improvements, implementing change and above all, working closely
with people.
() Employment My employed background is with the service industry. My experience
is working for and with many industries, in UK and International
locations, and includes Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Problem
Analysis, and Training/Staff Development. From the sixties and
throughout the eighties, I worked in various logistics / supply
chain areas, latterly at Director level. During the nineties,
I was employed as Director of Training for a training provider.

Qualifications During the journey towards today, I have gathered a wide portfolio
of qualifications. It seems pretty basic to me that those who
work with others on learning should also be able to formally
demonstrate, self-learning
() Principles Since 1998,I am self-employed, where the financial "feast
and famine balance" is helped by the freedom to do work
that I want to do and believe in. My agenda is the same as yours.
To get quality results fast and to get paid. I do like to work
with people in a totally open and honest way.
() Work I have worked for a wide variety of organisations, and I am
always looking for more!
()
() Personal I am married to Christine with the children now grown up and
away from home. Two rescued dogs, Bessie, and Sally now compliment
our life. (Bessie is a border collie cross, Sally, well we are
not sure at the moment, as she is still a pup. However, so far
we can see she is definitely of the Heinz 57 variety type). Home is in Bradford, Yorkshire (or Gods own county, as we prefer
it to be called). And contrary to popular opinion, I do not
like cricket or, a large frothy top on my beer and I have no
personal knowledge of ferrets or flat caps! Mind you the whole
of the UK is a pretty OK place. I enjoy going to anywhere in
the UK or the world-I like travel-but-then, there is no place
like home! As my son once said, "London is OK, (apart from
some of the southern jessies), but the trouble is, there is
just no horizon".
So yes, I do like the hills and open-spaces up north!
